Terms of use
Last updated 1 November 2026.
1. Who we are
BuyerChecked is operated by BuyerChecked Ltd (“we”, “us”), PO Box 7319, Manchester, M60 3QN, United Kingdom. These terms apply to everyone who uses buyerchecked.com.
2. The service
BuyerChecked publishes reviews of companies written by buyers whose order and identity have been checked. The service is free for buyers and companies.
3. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate information, including for identity checks.
- One person, one buyer account. One company, one company account.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Writing reviews
- Review only companies you bought from, using your own order code.
- Write about your own genuine experience, in your own words.
- No payment, discount or reward may be linked to your review.
- Follow our integrity rules.
Every review is screened before publishing. We may decline, remove or label a review that breaks these terms. Publication is at our discretion.
5. Licence to your review
You keep ownership of your review. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display and distribute it, including through company widgets and search engines.
6. Companies
- Only authorised representatives may register a company.
- Companies may reply to reviews, upload order codes and use our widgets.
- Companies may not offer incentives for reviews, review their own business, or pressure buyers to change a review.
- Widgets must display ratings unaltered and link to the BuyerChecked page.
7. Acceptable use
No scraping that harms the service, no attempts to bypass verification, no unlawful, defamatory or abusive content, no impersonation.
8. Liability
Reviews reflect their authors' opinions, not ours. The service is provided “as is”. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights in your country.
