Stoneware soup bowls with handles. The first night I used them for leek and potato, and my haands stayed warm, soup stayed hot. Four arrvied, four intact, wrapped in paper pulp.

I got the toastie maket for my son who is away at university. He rang me the first week to tell me he had made four toasties in one evening. It has deep plates, non-stick that cleans with a damp cloth, and a long cable. It arrived with a handwritten note from the packer that said hope you like it. I think they took the effort to be kind.

After a flood damaged our old kitchen we had to replace pots, plates, glasses, and all sorts. I ordered a starter bundle, then after seeing the quality ordered dinnerware as well. The customer service person checked in by email to make sure everything arrived properly. Everything came on the same afternoon, labelled by box, which made unpacking easy. For a family of five, the plates are chunky enough to survive teenagers, which I appreciate.

Customer service rang me back to check the hob type before dispatching,, which saved a return. everything arrived in one box rather than four separate deliveries over a week. Spare seals came in the box for the blackout curtain, which tells you they expect you to keep it rather than replace it. i asked a slightly stupid question and got a kind, clear answer rather than a copy-and-paste. the knives came genuinely sharp, sharp enough that I cut myself being careless on day one. this is how it should be done.

I went to three big stores looking for a decent cast iron casserole and left each time disliking the price or the weight. Finally ordered one here after reading about the enamel. It arrived in a plain brown box, double wrapped in paper, with a card explaining how to heat it slowly. Beef stew on Sunday was perfect, and the lid seals really well. It is heavy, yes, but that is the point. I will leave it out on the hob permanently because it looks lovely.
