United StatesThe wool slippers kept my feet dry through a day of wet grass with no gaiter. nothing rattled in transit because everything was individually wrapped rather than thrown in loose. the insole comes out, so my orthotic goes in without the shoe becoming too tight.

United StatesI hike most weekends and my old boots finally gave up. These have a stiff midsole for rocky ground, a gusseted tongue that keeps pebbles out, and a heel that doesn't rub on descents. Did a twenty kilometre day in them after only a short trial around the house. Waterproofing held through a stream crossing. Laces are a little long but that's a nit.
