The hardwood bench arrived in 9 on a pallet, with every panel wrapped and the fixings in a labelled bag. Customer service rang me back when they said they would, at the time they said they would. I have left the stainless steel trowel out all year and the bolts are stainless so there is no rust bleeding down the wood.

The bird feeder has taken a full summer of direct sun and the colour has not faded or chalked. No handling fee, no insurance upsell, no surprise charge at the door. The pruning saw has a forged head rather than a pressed one, and it has not bent in clay soil. Worth every penny.

They state the timber species and whether it is FSC certified, with the certificate number on the page. They emailed a one-hour delivery window the morning of and hit it. The seed germinated in nine days across the whole patch rather than in patches. The gift note was handwritten and the price was left off the enclosed invoice without me asking. Built to be repaired.

Greeceeverything arrived alive
order of twelve perennials came in a box with a wooden frame holding the pots upright . All twelve were moist and perky. I planted them the same afternoon and each has flowered.

Canadaanswered all my questions
Beore ordering I asked which soil would suit the fruit bushes. The reply was long kind, and it suggested a mix and how deep to plant. Bushes arrived bare-root, wrapped in damp paper, and they have all leafed out.

United Statesa present for dad
Dad has a bad shoulder so I bought him a long-handled pruner. It telescopes, cuts branches up to 3 cm and weighs next to nothing. He did the whole apple tree without his sling.

Indiastorage that survived winter
I wanted a deck box for cushions and tools. It is a plastic resin box with a lid that opens with gas struts, 450 litres. It stood all winter in snow and rain and the cushions are dry. The lid locks with a padlock hole and the base has little feet that keep it off damp ground. Instructions were a single sheet but all it needed was screws for the hinge. Two people can carry it fully loaded.

Australiaswimming in sunflowers
I sent a note asking for tall sunflowers for a school project. A packet of four varieties arrvied with a pencil-written instruction sheet. The kids planted them in a row and are measuring each week. The tallest is already taller than my youngest.
