The court shoes are welted rather than cemented, so when the sole wears out a cobbler can replace it instead of me binning the whole shoe. They flagged that one item was delayed and offered to split the shipment at no cost. The leather brogues arrived in a proper box with shoe trees and a dust bag, which at this price I did not expect.

The waterproof botos have not creased at the toe or lost there shape despite being worn four days a week. I returned one of two sizes and the refund appeared without me having to chase it once. The sizing is honest: I am a forty-two in most things and a forty-two here. Five stars without hesitation.

Slippers have a proper rubber sole so I can take the bins out in them. No handling fee no insurance upsell no surprise charge at the door. The heel counter is stiff and properly built, so the shoe holds my foot instead of letting it slide. Pleased I took the chance.

They give the fit in both UK and continental sizes and state which last the shoe is built on. I asked a slightly stupid question and got a kind, clear answer rather than a copy-and-paste. The deck shoes are light enough for a long day and substantial enough for rough ground. The parcel fitted through the letterbox, which saved me a trip to a deppot. The lining is leather rather than a synthetic that makes your feet sweat.
