after my knee op

After knee surgery i was told to build strength slowly. I bought a set of ankle weights a stability ball and a pair of supportive trainers. The physiotherapist looked at the trainers and nodded, which is rare. I've been using the ball for balance and the weights for leg raises. Pain is down and I'm walking longer. It's a bit out of the ordinary to praise a shop for helping you recover, but the sizing advice by chat, with a real person, made the first step easier.

I have put the gym bag through a season of club…

I have put the gym bag thru a season of club training and the stitching at the stress poings has not moved. Delivery was free over a sensible threshold rather than one calculated to make you add something you do not want. Five stars without hesitation.

learning to skiiii at forty

I started skiing late in life and the thought of buying kit was daunting. I wrote to the shop with my height, weight and the fact that I'd only done two days on the slopes. A real person replied with a short explainer on boot flex, helmets, and why not to buy skis yet, just rent them. I bought boots, helmet, goggles and thermal layers. the boots are snug yet comfortable all day, the helmet is light, and the goggles haven't fogged once. i felt confident from the first run. advice that wasn't aimed at selling me more was refreshing.

The head torch dried overnight…

They include a patch kit and the glue was still usable eight months later. I had a query about VAT on a business order and they sorted it within the hour. The head torch dried overnight in a bothy, which is the only reason I made the second day.

great little shop

Shop emailed to say the colour I ordered was out of stock and asked if the alternative shade was okay. Appreciated that honesty. The running vest fits well and doesn't bounce at all.
