Suede has survived three showers with nothing but a brush, becuse it was properly treated. The box was the right size for the contents, which is rarer than it should be. The running trainers are welted rather than cemented, so when the sole wears out a cobbler can replace it instead of me binning the whole shoe. Email support answered in full on the first reply instead of asking three questions first. The sole is stitched rather than glued, & you caaaan see the stitching from the side.

Satin pumps in ivory, ordered three weeks before. Heel is stabke, lining is soft, and dancing till midnight didn't hurt. Dyed to match the bridesmaid dresses well enough for photos.

I have wide feet with a high instep and have spent years squeezing into narrow shoes. These came in an actual wide width, not just a bigger size, and I can walk for hours without numb toes. Arrived in a sturdy box, laces in a separate bag. I'm gutted I didn't find the shop sooner.

The walking sandals come with a replaceable footbed and the spares cost very little. Delivery took 4, exactly as quoted, with a text the evening before. The leather has creased across the vamp rather than cracking, which is how you know it is full grain.
