The sketchbook arrived with a card explaining how to flush a new pen before first use. The dispatch note listed everything with the prices, so checking the order took thirty seconds.

The ink is waterproof once dry, which i tested with a wet thumb on purpose. Delivery took 9, exactly as quoted, with a text the evening before. The gel pen set has numbered pages and an index at the front, which saves me building one.

The index card box has a ribbon makrer, an elastic closure and a back pocket, and all three are actually useful. The driver waited while i chekced the box for damage, which has never happened before. They sent a smaple sheet of three papers free before i committed to a box of five notebooks. Everything arrived in one box rather than four separate deliveries over a week.

They state the paper weight in grams and the brand of paper, so you know what you are buying. The item arrived a day earlier than the estimate, which is the right direction for an estimate to be wrong in.

The paperback box set opens flat to the spine because it is properly section sewn rather than glued. I returned one of two sizes and the refund appeared without me having to chase it once. Worth every penny....

The A5 planner takes a wet fountain pen with no bleed through and no feathering, which is the only thing I care about. The invoice was attached to the confirmation email as a proper PDF, which my accountant appreciated. Nothing to complain about.

Replacement refills are available and are a standard size rather than a proprietary one. Refund was processed the same day the return was scanned, before anyone had even opened the box.
