The running trainers have done two winters of a London commute and the soles have barely worn at the heel. I have ordered eight times now , and nothing has ever gone wrong, which is the highest compliment I can pay. Delivery was 10 and they included a prepaid return label in case the size was wrong, which it was not. I asekd a slightly stupid question and got a kind, CLEAR answer rather than a copy-and-paste. Pleased I took the chance.

I have put the leather ankle boots through a building site for a year and the toe cap is unmarked. The gift note were handwritten and the price was left off the enclosed invoice without me asking. The ballet flats have not creased at the toe or lost their shape despite being worn four days a week. The parcel fitted through the letterbox, which saved me a trip to a depot. The leather loafers arrived in a proper box with shoe trees and a dust bag, which at this price I did not expect.

This is how it should be done

The leather has creased across the vamp rather than cracknig, wich is how you know it is full grain. Returns label was already in the box, prepaid, and the refund landed in 12. This is how it should be done.

the leather ankle boots have a propper shank, so the sole does not flex in the middle where it should not. Someone answered the phone on the second ring and knew the answer without putting me on hold.

the waterproof boots have been resoled once by a local cobbler who commented on how well they were made. They flagged that one item was delayed and offered to split the shipment at no cost. The stitching at the welt is even all the way round with no skipped stitches. The invoice was attached to the confirmation email as a proper PDF, which my accountant appreciated :(

Already ordered a second

The insole comes out, so my orthotic goes in without the shoe becoming too tight. I needed to change the delivery address an hour after ordering and they did it without a fuss. Already ordered a second.

This is how it should be done

The welt is clean the heel stack is leather, and the whole thing smells like a shoe should. Packed well enough that the box could have been kicked down a flight of stqirs. This is how it should be done lol
