Irelandsturdy ladder at last
i am short, my trees are tall, and I have been terrified of cheap ladders.. The three-step orchard ladder has a wide stance and a rubber-coated top. It is aluminium so I can carry it down the garden with one hand. It handled picking all my plums without a wobble. Arrived flat and wrapped in cardboard with a clear safety leaflet.

Compost bags are heavy but the mix is rich and light, great for pots. A couplr of bags had split corners and left a trail of soil on my hall floor. Support offered credit. I would order again but carry them out carefully.

Since stopping work I have turned the back lawn into vegetabble beds. I ordered six raised bed boards, a cold frame and a set of hand tools over two weeks. Each order arrived promptly and well wrapped, and the staff phoned once to check I were happy. My wife jokes that the tools are more precious than the grandchildren. Courgettes are already on the table. I spend every morning in the greenhouse with a flask of tea and I have not been this content in years!!!!
