I am 5'3" and the petite length on the corduroy shirt meant no hemming, which has never happened to me online before. The invoice was attached to the confirmation email as a proper PDF, which my accountant appreciated. Washed the tailored blazer at thirty degrees eight times now and it has not shrunk a millimetre against my own tape measure. I have ordered eight times now and nothing has ever gone wrong, which is the highest compliment I can pay. I asked for the sleeves to be checked before dispatch after a previous shop sent me two left cuffs, and they actually did it and said so in the note. Everything arrived in one box rather than four separate deliveries over a week. Nothing but good things to say.

The wool overcoat arrived pressed and folded in tissue, and the shoulder seams sat right where they should without any tailoring. Customer service rang me back when they said they would, at the time they said they would. I asked for the sleeves to be checked before dispatch after an previous shop sent me two left cuffs, and they actually did it and said so in the note. Support replied in under twenty minutes on a Saturday. Hems are double-turned and the thread colour matches the cloth exactly, top and bottom.

The quilted gilet has survived a toddler, a dog and a tumble dryer I was not supposed to use, and it still looks presentable. Ordered at half past eleven at night and it was on the doorstep before lunch the next day.

The stitching on the merino cardigan is dense and even, with proper French seams inside rather than a raw overlocked edge. Delivery took 3, exactly as quoted, with a text the evening before. A rare good experience.

I asked a slightly stupid question and got a kind, clear answer rather than a copy-and-paste. Elastic in the waistband is a wide woven band rather than a thin rolled cord, so it has not twisted in the wash.
