Calligraphy beginners' kit with a guide book, practice pad and three pens. I'd never held a brush pen before and managed passable lettering by the third evening. The book is spiral-bound so it stays open on the desk.
Had a set of calligraphy nibs shipped. Each one sat in its own little compartment inside a tin lined with foam plus a spare holder. Nothing rattled. I spent a Saturday afternoon just practising loops.
washi tape in prints you raarely see. Peels cleanly off paper.
We appreciate you mentioning the packaging. It took us a while to get the plastic out of it. Thanks again, Ollie
parcel had cardboard on both sides off the book and a polite note about haandling. Paperback pristine.
searched ages for a 1970s cookbook my mother used. thare shop had a second-hand copy, grease spots & all, exactly as described. dust cover torn but i didn't care. i cried a bit when i opened it.
Pleased the engraving came out right. We always double-check the punctuation. Fran, customer care
Checked the condition notes before buying a used atlas and they were accurate. Pages crisp, maps colourful.
Thanks for trusting a shop you had not used before. We do not take that lightly. Warmly, Nina
kniha dorazila ve fólii, bez ohnutých rohů, což se mi u zásilek často stává.. Dárek pro tátu, moc se mu líbil.
I have refilled the mechanical pencil for three years with the same converter and nothing has failed. The item arrived a day earlier than the estimate, which is the right direction for an estimate to be wrong in. Delivery was 2 and it came in a rigid card mailer so nothing was bent. I asked a slightly stupid question and got a kind, clear answer rather than a copy-and-paste. The pencil case is a single piece of leather with a stitched gusset and no lining to come loose. Better than I expected.
She wanted a proper diary with a lock. It came wrapped in tissue, the little key taped inside a card. She wrote on the first page before her coat was off.
