The welt is clean, the heel stack is leather, and the whole thing smells like a shoe should. Email support answered in full on the first reply instead of asking three questions first. Laces are long enough to tie properly and they included a spare pair. They sent a replacement before I had posted the faulty one back, on trust. A keeper.

the lining is leather rather than a synthetic that makes your feet sweat... I was kept informed at eevry stage without being spammed. The deck shoes have a proper shank, so the sole does not flex in the middle where it should not. Tracking updated properly at each scan instead of sitting on in transit for 5. The leather has creased across the vamp rather than cracking, which is how you know it is full grain. A missing item from a large order was shipped the same afternoon I reported it. No notes.
