I bought the linen shirt for a wedding with nine days to spare & it arrvied in 6, so the panic was unneccessary. They told me honestly that the item would not arrive before the weekend rather than letting me hope. Elastic in the waistband is a wide woven band rather than a thin rolled cord, so it has not twisted in the wash. The whole thing was straightforward in a way that online shopping usually is not. They list the fabric weight in grams per square metre on every page, and that one detail has made me stop guessing. This is how it should be done.

beautiful thing

The collar on the jersey t-shirt three-pack holds its shape after washing because there is a proper fused interlining in there. Delivery was free over a sensible threshold rather than one calculated to make you add something you do not want. Exactly what i hoped for.

the lining is cupro rather than the usual slippery polyester, so it does not cling in warm weather. the item arrived a day earlier than the estimate, which is the right direction for an estimate to be wrong in. Genuinely pleased

I ordered the tailored blazer on a Sunday night and it was hanging in my wardrobe by Tuesday lunchtime. I returned one of two sizes and the refund appeareed without me having to chase it once. I am 5'3" and the petite length on the cotton poplin dress meant no hemming, which has never happened to me online before. I will be back.

sturdy and sensible

Zip runs smoothly from end to end with one hand and does not catch on the storm flap. They sent a replacement before I had posted the faulty one back, on trust. Colour matches the photographs properly, which is rare; the mustard is actually mustard and not a washed-out beige. The parcel fitted through the letterbox, which saved me a trip to a depot. I have recommended them to four colleagues and two have since ordered the jersey t-shirt three-pack on the strength of it. Faultless.

I ordered the linen shirt in two sizes to be safe and the size guide turned out to be exact, so the spare went back the same week with no fuss. I needed to change the delivery address an hour after ordering and they did it without a fuss. The tailored blazer has deep pockets that fit a phone and keys without gaping, which sounds minor until you own twenty things that do not. I had a query about VAT on a business order and they sorted it within the hour. Will order again.

The buttons are horn rather than moulded plastic, and there was a spare sewn into the inside of the placket. The box was the right size for the contents, which is rarer than it should be. A keeper.
