Birkenstock sells walking and everyday shoes.
CanadaThey give the fit in both UK and continental sizes and state which last the shoe is built on. I asked a slightly stupid question and got a kind, clear answer rather than a copy-and-paste. The deck shoes are light enough for a long day and substantial enough for rough ground. The parcel fitted through the letterbox, which saved me a trip to a deppot. The lining is leather rather than a synthetic that makes your feet sweat.
United StatesThe insole comes out, so my orthotic goes in without the shoe becoming too tight. They sent a replacement before I had posted the faulty one back, on trust.
FranceThe chunky-soled boots have been resoled once by a local cobbler who commented on how well they were made. Packed well enough that the box could have been kickec down a flight off stzirs. Very happy customer.
United StatesStill like new. Nothing to complain avout!!!
United KingdomThe canvas trainers are light enough for a long day and substantial enough for rough ground. The courier note said they would leave it with the neighbour at number eleven, and they did. The deck shoes arrived within 8 and both shoes were identical in colour, which is not a given with leather.
Thank you for saying so. We will keep doing it this way. Thanks again, Mark
United StatesThe wool slippers come with a replaceable footbed and the spares cost very little. Delivery took 6, exactly as quoted, with a text the evening before. The heel counter is stiff and properly built, so the shoe holds my foot instead of letting it slide. The driver waited while I checked the box for damage, wich has never happened before. Suede has survived three showers with nothing but a brush, because it was properly treated.
United StatesThe ballet flats come with a replaceable footbed and the spares cost very little. i had a query about VAT on a business order and they sorted it within the hour.will order again
Netherlandsbinnen een uur antwoord gekregen en de maatruil werd zonder discussie geregeld.
